Burgerville - 1122 SE Hawthorne Blvd: Fresh, Local Fast Food in Portland

The girls here were extremely sweet and helpful. I ordered two shakes for my partner and I, one vegan one not. They were perfect! The local stumptown coffee is amazing, and the organic chocolate. The prices reflect the quality of the ingredients. Even the ice cream is local. The chocolate chunk cookie was one of the best I’ve ever had! It was $18 for two large shakes and the cookie. Burger not as good as the last visit About 20 years ago..... Fries were great though, and we didn't have a lot of time, so it was very convenient and quick

Friendly staff, very efficient with orders, accommodate special requests easily. Because the food is frequently cooked to order, it may take a minute or two longer than other fast casual restaurants, but the food is of better quality. They recently dropped the cold brew shake in favor of the mocha perk - not a good choice. Cold brew shake with an extra shot is significantly better than the mocha perk. The chocolate in the mp almost tastes like cocoa powder mixed in.

Oh Burgerville! How I have missed you! From your burger sauce that makes almost everything yummy-licious, to your milkshakes to your strawberry shortcakes in season! You make everything better! I walked into this location and had to wait a hot minute to place an order at the counter. Prices are still reasonable. I took a seat, and my food was brought out to me. Everything was just as I remembered.

BV is always really really good food, I just have to be honest. If you're driving through either Oregon or Washington state, please visit any one of their locations. Sure the food costs a bit more money, but I would be surprised if you ended up disappointed while eating it. Oh, and thank you guys for reintroducing your chocolate chunk cookies. That was absolutely the right choice if ya ask me.
